Father’s Day The Shady Way

My Dad’s Gone Crazy Father’s Day single artwork

June 28, 2026

Two of Eminem’s beloved “dad” tracks have been paired for his latest offering: a 7-inch collector’s vinyl in celebration of Father’s Day 2026.

The A-side features the playful father-daughter collaboration “My Dad’s Gone Crazy,” originally released in 2002 on The Eminem Show. The B-side is the heartfelt lullaby-inspired “Mockingbird,” originally released in 2004 on Encore and later issued in 2005 as the album’s fourth major single.

The single features cover art for both songs. Despite receiving radio play in 2002, “My Dad’s Gone Crazy” has never had an official cover — until now, with a fitting hockey mask ink-blot design. The new “Mockingbird” cover, a simplistic childlike drawing, takes inspiration from The Slim Shady LP (and The Death of Slim Shady), using a child-written title in the matching color scheme. It also draws from the song’s music video with the inclusion of a projector. The vinyl itself — clear with an ink-blot/marble effect — is designed to match the single’s A-side.

The collector’s single follows last year’s “Stan / Bad Guy” release, which paired the related tracks on a unique rectangular vinyl that also doubled as a replica of Eminem’s original handwritten “Stan” lyric page, housed inside a sleeve designed to resemble the envelope addressed to Eminem Fan Mail that Stan sends in the song’s music video.

In what is hopefully a continuing series, future pairings could include singles such as “’97 Bonnie & Clyde / Kim,” “Cleanin’ Out My Closet / Headlights,” or, perhaps the most obvious, “Just Don’t Give a Fuck / Still Don’t Give a Fuck.”
