Who Had the Most Verses on D12’s Devil’s Night & D12 World?

6. Eminem

Coming in last place is the lead singer of the band, Eminem. On Devil’s Night, he actually tied with Bizarre, with 14 verses each. However, Eminem’s presence on the album is greater than that suggests, as he also contributes to 16 choruses throughout the record.

Although he finished last overall, Eminem actually had more verses than Proof on Devil’s Night. His total was dragged down by a 53% drop in verses on D12 World.

His overall count was boosted by his two verses on the Devil’s Night solo track “Girls,” as well as appearances on all four of its bonus tracks, including two verses on “Shit on You” — one more than any other member on the track.

5. Proof

Big Proof, who was notably absent from D12’s debut single “Shit on You,” was another member whose verse count dropped on D12 World compared to Devil’s Night, although nowhere near as dramatically as Eminem’s.

Despite ranking only fifth here, outside of these two albums, no other D12 member shared more verses with Eminem than Proof. However, Bizarre has been steadily closing in on that record and, unlike Proof, still has the opportunity to surpass it with future collaborations.

4. Bizarre

Speak of the devil, and he appears. Bizarre — the member who puts the “dirty” in Dirty Dozen — finishes fourth. Although he tied with Kon Artis on total verses, he loses the tiebreaker. His overall tally was boosted by appearing on all seven bonus tracks released across the two albums.

Across Devil’s Night and D12 World, Bizarre was also one of only two members to receive a solo track. Eminem had “Girls” on Devil’s Night, while Bizarre had the Hi-Tek-produced “Just Like U” on D12 World.

3. Kon Artis

Denaun may rank third in terms of total verses, but if we were measuring overall contribution to D12 across the two albums, he’d almost certainly finish one place higher, behind only Eminem. Performing as Kon Artis while also producing under his legal name, Denaun Porter (and later as Mr. Porter), he produced numerous tracks, including “Shit Can Happen,” “U R the One,” and “Good Die Young,” and performed more hooks than anyone except Eminem.

Outside of D12, no other member has contributed more to Eminem’s solo career. He produced Eminem’s entire debut album, Infinite, went on to produce a number of tracks throughout his catalog, and also appeared on numerous songs as a member of D12.

2. Kuniva

Just edging into second place is Kuniva, finishing with only one more verse than Kon Artis across Devil’s Night and D12 World.

Besides the interludes, on the standard version of Devil’s Night, Kuniva is absent from only two tracks: “American Psycho” and “Girls,” the latter featuring only Eminem. On the standard version of D12 World, however, that tally doubled, with Kuniva missing from four tracks.

1. Swifty McVay

Still representing D12 alongside runner-up Kuniva, Swifty McVay tops the list with a total of 34 verses across Devil’s Night and D12 World.

Helping him secure first place was the Swift-led “Instigator” from Devil’s Night, where he delivers two verses. Like Bizarre, he also appears on all seven bonus tracks released across the two albums, boosting his overall total.

Interestingly, even if the bonus tracks are removed from the count, Swift still finishes first by a single verse, meaning “Instigator” ultimately proved to be the difference.

Ironically, out of the six core members of the group, Swift was the last to join — showing that joining later didn’t stop him from becoming one of the group’s most prominent voices.
