• “Crack a Bottle” was chosen as the first single from Relapse. It marked the first time since The Slim Shady LP that Eminem released a less commercial track ahead of the album’s main lead single.
• The song reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in both the United States and Canada, and peaked at No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart.
• On February 12, 2009, the song broke the first-week digital sales record with 418,000 downloads, surpassing the previous record set by T.I.’s “Live Your Life.”
• The song won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards in 2010.
• Although the song’s video went into production in February 2009, it wasn’t officially released until August 2022. The video was used to promote Eminem’s second greatest hits album, Curtain Call 2.
