• This track was first released exclusively on its own CD within The Singles boxset, posed as a promotional single. It was later included on the Shady Classics Mixtape in 2014.
• The original 50 Cent version was first released on the 8 Mile soundtrack. Eminem later selected it as one of the bonus tracks for 50 Cent’s debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin’, alongside earlier 50 Cent recordings he wanted to showcase.
• Eminem does not perform over the official “Wanksta” instrumental, but over an open loop taken from 50 Cent’s mixtape version. Although the mixtape version was released after the soundtrack version, it’s an earlier version, lacking the mix by Dr. Dre.
