• This is a remix of a Kanye West track from his ninth studio album Jesus Is King.
• Kanye West first revealed the song’s existence via Twitter in September 2020, after announcing in November 2019 that he was working on a now-scrapped sequel to Jesus Is King with Dr. Dre, the song’s intended album.
• Kanye West initially recorded numerous songs for DJ Khaled’s album, but none were completed in time for the album’s release, so he instead carried this track over from his Jesus Is King II project.
• The ICU, who co-produced this track alongside Dr. Dre, is a “dream team” of producers who have each worked closely with Dre to sculpt the modern Aftermath sound. The collective features a powerhouse roster including Blu2th, Dawaun Parker, Dem Jointz, Focus..., and Trevor Lawrence Jr..
• The track marks the second collaboration between Eminem and Kanye West, or the third if counting The Madd Rapper’s “Stir Crazy,” which featured vocals from Eminem and a beat by Kanye West. The two previously collaborated on the 2009 track “Forever,” alongside Drake and Lil Wayne. Kanye had also previously worked with D12 on the title track of their second studio album D12 World, although Eminem did not participate in that song.
