- “Gospel” was promoted as part of the GTA Online: The Contract soundtrack, however the collection was only issued as a playlist compiling singles from the project.
- The song was recorded alongside the Eminem track “Guns Blazing.” The two songs were later traded, with “Guns Blazing” originally intended for ’s Grand Theft Auto project and “Gospel” for the deluxe version of Eminem’s Music To Be Murdered By. Eminem requested “Guns Blazing,” stating, “it fit the theme of [my] album a little better.”
