• “Say Goodbye Hollywood” concludes the three-track run that begins with “The Kiss” and “Soldier”, the two preceding tracks on the album. As the final part of the loose trilogy, it reflects on the aftermath of Eminem’s altercation with bouncer John Guerra after catching him kissing his then-wife, Kim, and connects to “Sing For The Moment.”
• The song “Stimulate,” later included on The Eminem Show (Expanded Edition), was originally intended to be track 8 on The Eminem Show but was ultimately omitted and replaced by this song.
• In the album insert, written by Eminem himself, the track is listed as “Sayin’ Goodbye To Hollywood,” as heard in the chorus. In 2009, it was featured on DJ Hero (Renegade Edition) under the title “Say Goodbye To Hollywood.”
• The song can also be heard in the 2006 film Alpha Dog, a true-story drama based on Jesse James Hollywood and the kidnapping of Nicholas Markowitz.
