Trivia
- One of Eminem’s former recording engineers, Joe Strange, revealed that Eminem first recorded “Antichrist” circa 2003 and continued working on it until 2008. Along the way, the song was considered for several projects, including Curtain Call: The Hits, his shelved 2007 album commonly referred to by fans as King Mathers, and Relapse and Relapse: Refill. He also claimed that Eminem worked on it again in 2012 during the Marshall Mathers LP 2 sessions, recording the beginning of the second verse heard in the final The Death of Slim Shady version. Of all the versions created, only the 2005 Curtain Call version has leaked.
- The song was completed late into the album’s recording sessions, as Eminem references footage of assaulting R&B singer and ex-partner Cassie, which was released in May 2024.
- The song marks the first Eminem track to feature a member in 20 years, since Encore in 2004.
- is only credited as a featured artist on the album’s UK limited edition cassette.
