- “My Band” was released as the album’s lead single, becoming ’s most successful single. It peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100, No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart, and topped the charts in Norway, New Zealand, and Australia.
- The song’s single featured the exclusive B-side track “B.N.U.,” which does not feature any credited input from Eminem. The song was later included on Salam Wreck’s mixtape Welcome To The Pyrex, released on ’s Iron Fist Records later that same year.

“I was walking around the studio, just in “dude” mode. And it just came about. I was doing a beat, and then they came in and listened to it. They liked the beat, so I put a hook to it. I laid my magnificent vocals down, had everyone come check it out, like, “This is the issue we should address.”
I think it was one of the last songs we recorded on the album. The whole concept of the song is just, “I’m a dick.” Like, let me just be an ass-hole, which is how the media perceives me: “Look, I don’t care about these guys; we hate each other. We’re fighting on the road all the time.” It’s the overall picture of how people can see us, and we think it’s funny.
