Rakim Drops Eminem & Jay-Z Interlude

September 18, 2026

“God Speak (Interlude)” appears on the new collaboration album from Rakim, Kurupt and Masta Killa, DPG WU-TANG, WU-TANG DPG: The Godbody LP. The track features vocals from Eminem and Jay-Z taken from interviews in which they discuss Rakim’s influence on them, hence the title “God Speak.”

The legendary lineup doesn’t stop there. The album also features appearances from KRS-One, Kool G Rap, and Snoop Dogg. It also contains a proper Dogg Pound and Wu-Tang collaboration, “Rock Ya Body,” featuring Daz Dillinger and Kurupt alongside Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and Masta Killa.

Although many were hoping for a fully fledged Eminem and Jay-Z collaboration after seeing their names on the album’s handwritten tracklist, fans were disappointed to discover that it’s actually just an interlude.

So, if you were hoping for a new verse from Eminem, you’ll have to wait a little while longer.

The previously announced 2Pac, 50 Cent and Eminem collaboration is expected to appear on the Street Fighter soundtrack sometime around October 16.

We’ll keep you posted.
