Eminem Joins Jay-Z on Stage at Yankee Stadium

Jay-Z’s second of three concerts at Yankee Stadium featured another surprise appearance, with Eminem joining him onstage in the Bronx.

Nearly 25 years after first collaborating on “Renegade,” the two rap icons reunited to perform the track live for the first time since 2010. Eminem also remained onstage for a performance of his own classic, “Lose Yourself.”

The concert formed part of Jay-Z’s three-night run at Yankee Stadium, with the second show largely centered around his sixth studio album, The Blueprint. The opening night, which celebrated Reasonable Doubt, included an unexpected appearance from Nas, who joined Jay-Z for several songs, including “Dead Presidents” and “N.Y. State of Mind.”

Jay-Z returns to Yankee Stadium on Sunday for a special “Extra Innings” performance, featuring music spanning his entire career. The Jay-Z30 Tour then continues with dates in London and Paris this September before heading back to the United States for an October 23 show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
